My work is made in response to personal experience and memories of time and place. The relationship between the natural and man-made landscape remains central to much of my work. Organic form, genetic inheritance, ownership of land and the cycles of life embedded in the history of the land inform the expressive mark making and textured layers produced in my work. I use a wide variety of media to make mixed media drawings, prints and collages, as well as more sculptural forms in glass and ceramics.
